The use of technology that enhances interpersonal communications has made access to the world around us easier and more extensive, but has also consequently promoted greater human disconnection. Specifically, our youth spend countless hours entranced by their electronic devices and often lack the desire or are simply uninterested in connecting to people in a meaningful manner. The purpose of the Yair Leolam Programs is to reconnect youth by inspiring them to be aware and responsive to the needs of their community at large. Yair Leolam aims to empower individuals by giving them the skills and knowledge base to become potential leaders in their schools, shuls, and other communal settings.
